The Basconcillos Tempranillo 6 Meses Barrica, also known as Roble, is already a really adult Ribera del Duero. There is a lot of pressure and depth in it, supported by a subtle oak taste, the wine has a full body without being heavy at all, the aromas of ripe dark berries are very clear, the wine has no overripe and / or raisin note. Very well done!
Decanter magazine rates this wine a very good 90/100 points and their taster Olly Smith adds it to his top 30 wines for full-bodied wine recommendations.
