Tablas Creek White Patelin is a blend of five common Rhône grape varieties: Grenache Blanc, Viognier , Roussanne, Marsanne and Clairette, grown in nine prime vineyards in Paso Robles. p>
The Grenache Blanc gives the creamy fullness, the Viognier a flowery aroma, plus slightly tropical fruit notes due to the smaller proportions of Roussanne and Marsanne.
The Patelin de Tablas Blanc 2017 is intense and Rhône-like on the nose, with notes of honeysuckle, pear, nectarine, spearmint and sweet spices. On the palate it is voluminous but not broad, aromatically reminiscent of peaches, honey and orange peel. The bright acidity gives way to a creamy fullness on the finish and leaves lingering aromas of sweet spices. Perfect to drink now.
