The white wines of the Entre-deux-Mers are classics for fish and seafood, as well as a refreshing bistro wine throughout France. The additional designation Haut-Benauge is for wines from some communities in the south of the area.
The Château Chrismar derives its exotic fruit from the high proportion Sauvignon Blanc, which is rounded off by the body-rich Semillon and the Muscadelle. The Fermis family produces this wine with dedication and care, the wine is aromatic and surprisingly complex on the palate, grapefruit, apple and gooseberry dominate the fragrance. A delicious wine at a very reasonable price, best enjoyed young, in its fruity phase.
