The Jungberg Blaufränkisch from Altenburger consists of probably the oldest vines on the Jungenberg and is very rare with its only 1000 bottles production per year. It belongs to the very best Blaufränkisch Wines in Austria, with death, power, and finesse. The magazine Falstaff attests to it a good complexity, fine tannins as well as a good development potential and awards 96/100 points for the vintage 2017.
