Saint-Véran is considered as one of the best white wine AOPs in southern Burgundy. Around 700 hectares vines producing a juicy and full-bodied white wines from the grape variety Chardonnay. The Domaine Daniel Pollier does not use wooden barrels for the maturing of the St. Véran. 2016 was a vintage with low yields, but excellent quality, this wine has clarity, freshness and body, a southern Burgundy like from a picture book. Aromas such as licorice, sweet pastry, dried fruit and some hazelnut can be found in the harmonious aftertaste.
