The 2015 Cantemerle is almost outrageously delicious, and then comes the 16 and maybe even tops it? It seems like it is just a stylistic question, 15 is more Burgundian-elegant, the 16 is more powerful and intense, but also very delicate.
At the arrival I noted the following: very dark color, purple. Open nose, ripe cabernet, black currants, medium wood, but it could also be that the opulent fruit swallows a lot of wood here. Great extract sweetness, long, charming, juicy and really tasty, very good tannin quality. Best Cantemerle of all time? Looks like. Frank Rembold in April 2018
