Pacherenc du Vic Bilh moelleux - behind this complicated name stands one of the best-kept sweet-wine secrets of the South West of France. The Pacherenc of the Domaine Laougué consists in equal parts of the varieties Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng, planted on clay-bearing pebble soil on south-facing vineyards. Its fragrance contains exotic fruits, a touch of honey, gingerbread and roasted aromas. The exotic freshness is also in the taste, plus a fine spice, all balanced with the lovely sweetness. Try it as an aperitif or with sheep cheese from the Pyrenees.
