2015 is a decidedly fine, yet powerful Bordeaux vintage, which stands out for its first-class tannin quality. The Chateau Cambon La Pelouse consists of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 46% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot. Despite all its body, this wine is incredibly delicate and stimulating, you always want to refill your glass.
Note from our buyer Frank Rembold in March 2018: dark purple color. Juicy nose, fine oak, quite fruity and intense. Full-bodied, juicy on the palate, polished ripe tannins, very long and complex in the aftertaste. A great Cru Bourgeois.
Weinwisser Rene Gabriel : "rich purple garnet, close in the middle, purple shimmer outside. Delicate bouquet, complex with a wonderfully ripe blackberry tint in the middle. The palate shows plenty of soupiness, ripe tannins and the body looks long and smooth. Great. The best since 2010 " and awards 18/20 points.
