The top red wine from the House of Roxanich consists of the Bordeaux varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, plus the Gamay grape, which is called Borgonja in Istria. Inspired by the concept of Supertuscans, Mladen Rožanić called his top red wine, consequently, Superistrian.
This wine has a delicate dark berry note like ripe blueberries and black currants, accompanied by notes of tobacco, tar and plum jam. A full-bodied to powerful red, but always with tension and an impressive length in the finale. Very individual and high class.
