The Domaine Joannet farms 14 hectares of vines in different areas of the Côte d'Or. Michel Joannet doesn't use herbicides or insecticides. All wines are aged at least a short time in small oak barrels. The high-altitude vineyards for the Bourgogne of the Côtes de Nuits are resulting in a late harvest and a wine that is rather robust in its first years of life. With the required bottle ageing, the tannins are softened and a beautiful harmony arises.
