The Chateau Malescasse 2009 is a great success for the winery. A powerful wine with depth and complexity, fine tannins and impressive length on the palate, one of the best vintages ever bottled here. This great Médoc Cru Bourgeois is provides already a lot of fun and will continue to refine for the next few years. It shows aromas of ripe dark berries, cocoa, vanilla and a little truffle and licorice. On the palate it has a great length and the typical softness of generous 2009 vintage. Another 10 years of maturity in the bottle should be no problem with proper storage (note from 2019).
Our tip for a beautiful and ready to drink Médoc.
