The 2005 vintage was characterized by extreme drought and produced grapes with small berries from which very concentrated must was obtained. The Wiese & Krohn Colheita 2005 has the characteristic brick-red color of a medium-ripened Colheita. The scent contains all kinds of dried fruit, nuts and a finely spicy note. With a lot of pressure on the palate, but always well balanced and rich. A beautiful Colheita at a fair price.
