Vin Jaune (= yellow wine) is almost indestructible, these wines often age very slow, because they have already been oxidized.
Here is my note about this wine from May 2020, the bottle I tasted had a worse fill level than the one offered here: beautiful clarity, intense scent of straw and walnuts. Grippy on the palate, great acidity in the background that brings life into the wine, very long, balanced, no trace of tiredness. Perfect match for the 12 month old Comté. It will last a decade or more. Frank Rembold
Of course, we cannot guarantee the enjoyment of such old wines, as each bottle can develop differently. But we only buy from reputable sources and offer you bottles that are clearly authentic and in good condition from the outside. The picture shows the original bottle.
